The VNA of Southeast Missouri offers a variety of services to meet all of your health-care needs. Some of our programs include Home Medical Equipment and Supply, Hospice, Skilled and High Tech Nursing including daily monitoring of cardiac and respiratory patients using the Honeywell HomMed home monitoring system, Consumer-Directed Services, Homemaker/Chore and Personal Care, Medical Social Work, Home Health Aide, Private Duty Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. We also have a Senior Companion Program that reaches out to seniors and handicapped adults in their homes. Our service area covers 13 counties in Southeast Missouri including Cape Girardeau and Butler (Poplar Bluff area) and the entire "Bootheel" of Missouri. The VNA Mission Statement:
The mission statement of the Visiting Nurse Association is to set the statement for excellence in the delivery of home care service to the citizens of southeast Missouri through therapeutic, custodial, palliative, and preventive care in a cooperative and seamless system, utilizing innovation, diversification and cost effective methods in an environment that fosters learning and demonstrates positive outcomes. The services will be provided without regard to age, race, creed, disability or economic status. This mission will be carried out using the not-for-profit corporation form of doing business as defined in chapter 355 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri.
